Anya was a staff and volunteer favorite at a local shelter - and when 1 of our volunteers went there to walk dogs, the moment she met this lovable blue piglet, she knew she had to take her home to foster. Maybe it was those short little legs (Anya is definitely on the smaller side). Or maybe it was Anya's piggy snorts when she waddles. Perhaps it was how she wiggles right up to people and is very polite and well behaved when she greets them - she sits right at their feet and leans in for attention without jumping and getting wild.... (read more) It was indeed a combination of all of these things that made us fall in love with Anya - and we know you will too. She's about as "easy" as they come - very, very calm, gentle and well-behaved. She likes going for walks and is a total breeze on leash, but isn't the kind of dog who requires a whole lot of exercise. She's perfectly house trained and crate trained too. In her foster home, she completely ignores the cat there and is content to lounge around and snooze at your feet.
