Hans is a very "puppy" puppy of about ten months old and weighs about 42 lbs. He is small for his age (at least right now). He came in to us with Pippa, from a shelter. They were brought in by this shelter from a "backyard" breeder for cruelty. They are quite attached to each other and seem none the worse for wear from the actions of their former owner. They play like Dober puppies do, wild, rough and silly all rolled together. So energy to spare plus some.... (read more) Our boy does pretty well in the house but again, puppy rambunctiousness is there, so we suggest a home with experience raising puppies and setting strict,(no matter how precious they may be) boundaries. Hans does have some basic skills to bring to the party, he knows 'sit' and 'down', and thus far has been clean and house trained in his kennel. We have noticed he likes to mildly unstuff his bed; in other words he has not shredded it or made it unusable but has pulled some stuffing through a neat hole he made. Has not ate the stuffing just sets it aside.
