Leo is not at the Medfield Shelter. He was in the care of New England Saint Bernard Rescue but their founder passed away so we are trying to help his foster mom find him a suitable home. She has been fostering him for 2 months and would be happy to tell potential adopters with experience training a dog, more about him. (read more) He is very devoted to his foster mom and looks to her for direction. Although she can take toys and food from him, he can be a bit protective of his things around people he doesn't know. His foster mom says he is an overgrown lap dog, good on leash and loves tug toys. He loves to run and play and needs a yard with at least a 5ft fence. He does need time to adjust to new people and new environments, so is not a good fit for a busy household. And he cannot live with cats.
