This attractive Anatolian Shepherd was found in a live trap set for feral hogs who were roaming on a friend's farm. He might some day be a nice working dog, but for now, he has proven too excitable around livestock. He can live right next to our goats and not try to charge the fence, and no digging under to get to them, so he apparently doesn't have a prey drive. But when we take him into the paddock with the goats, Honey Bear wants to chase them and play with them. That could just be youthful exuberance, but still, we're not willing to trust him in the pasture.
