I have had two Maltese pets in my life. One lived to be 18, the other 13. My daughter, now almost 16 loves dogs and is strongly interested in a Maltese. We are caring, will provide a wonderful home for a dog and I am an experienced, long-time dog owner. My daughter 'baby-sits' for neighbors' dogs and I promised her that when I felt she was ready for the commitment, we would begin a search.
